I'm working on the tutorial for my upcoming workshop "Patterns & Mandala"

and I was pleased with the outcome of this one. So I could not resist uploading it (don't look Carol!!).

I deliberately made the blueish parts around the flowers quite textured

so they might resemble water, reflecting the foliage.

I used a pattern from a book, so it was basically just colouring in....but such fun to do!

Well Thea, the result may be shown. The colors are matching very well.

The blue-yellow-rose combination makes is very uplifting.

Keep going with the mandala's, I'm also trying and know it is much fun to do.

This really is a very happy mandala, certainly one for the challenge of April. I think it took quite some work to get it all the same, especially the lovely pink flowers.

Thea, this is an exciting piece! (Sorry---I had to look!!) (Actually, not a bit sorry---!) The bright clear colours, the rich texture, plus that precision/replication that mandalas present are a feast for the eye. Lucky me, to be signed up for that workshop! Happy Ester to you and to everyone on the site.

I love the textured bleu a lot Thea, and the whole Mandala has

a wonderful radiation/uitstraling! (i know you can read Dutch!)

The presentation with the white border is very nice.

Greetings en een mooi Pasen.
