...or: YOU are "Tiger Wood"? - Then give back my rain forest!
This was a really hard work and my biggest one(47,24" x 39,4"
First I painted only with blocks, then heated it with hotair
and last painted million of hairs with stylos.
Now the Stylos is glowing!

This is so realistic that I reached out to touch his fur - but all I felt was glass. What you can do with encaustic is fantastic!

This is almost a bit scary, the tiger looks ready to come out of the picture.
Did you use the wire brush on your stylus, I find spreading that out and using dry gives great fur? lovely picture.

Wow! It was worth all the effort Frithjof .... as Ron and Tracy have commented the tiger almost leaps out of the screen/off the page. Fantastic work!
